Mrs. Jerry, Sharyn and I are very sorry to here of Capt.Toms passing. We send our sincere condolenses, all the years I spent fishing with and around him were enjoyable and informative.I’ve only known a few who were as energitic as him driving to and from Durham every weekend for so many years and I know this was only a small part of his energy and enthiusiasm for the fishing industry, even though he said one time he did not think he was a Moreheader he has done for Morehead and is as much one of us as if he had been born here. I for one was fortunate to have known/know him and you and your families for so many years. So from Sharyn and I our best to you.he was a good man Capt. Ryan Guthrie 1305 shepard st.MHCity

Miss Jerry, I will always remember the years I spent fishing with Tom on the Tom & Jerry and the experience and knowledge of the sea I gained from him. He was truly a mentor to me and a legend to the fishing community of the Carteret County watermen.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
