Condolence from Laurie on August 17th, 2008 12:00 am

Dear Bill & family,
Sheridan and my son Donny had built a friendship over the past year that I know Donny will never forget. They clicked from the first time they met and they were looking forward to creating better lives for themselves. They only wanted the best for each other, and I know Sheridan had proven himself to be a wonderful support and friend to Donny. I will always remember & love him for this. He was an amazing young man with a big heart and I know he made you proud in so many ways. Sheridan’s time on this earth was all too short, but I know that this world is only temporary and we will see him again. He is with his the Lord now in a place far better than we could ever imagine. I pray you find comfort in this. Sheridan did not die in vain, and his memory will live on in our hearts, as it will in so many others his young life touched.

Love & prayers,
Laurie, Donny, Brittany, & Tyler

I met Sheridan about 4 yrs ago when he and my son Corey Raymond were at Three Springs. They became very close friends. You could not help but fall for that beautiful smile and charm. It breaks my heart that Sheridan is gone. He was a good kid and had so much promise. Bill, we will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Sheridan.

Bill and April,
A note to Sheridan from me,

If I could behold your presence once again,
And hug you one more time,
Would it be enough to heal the hurt,
Digging out the wounds benign?
If I could hold you once again
Since you left suddenly that day,
If I had known it was the last
I’d see you, what else would I say?

Could I talk forever or hold on eternally
To keep you here with us?
Or could I settle for one last kiss
Before death set you free?
You will always live in my memories
The good outweighing the bad.
Happily I enjoyed your smiles filled with love,
Now left with emptiness, I feel sad.

I cannot hold on, but memories will
Go on in my heart, mind, and soul.
And inner peace I will eventually find
And comfort to ease the pain, for
When we meet again in another place in time,
We’ll embrace each other there,
And know of a surety we loved on earth
By the deep feelings we’ll always share.
Goodbye Sheridan until we meet again.
Grandma Barbara
