OXFORD:

Mitchell Allen Lane, age 26 a resident of Oxford died June 12, 2009 in Vance County. A native of Oxford he was the son of Charles Allen and Gail Beal Lane. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in surveying.
Funeral services will be held Sunday June 14, 2009 at 4:00 PM in Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. Jason Hunter. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Julie Williams Lane of Henderson; a son Lucas James Lane and a step-son Jordan Bryan Moss both of Henderson; a brother Randy Lane of Oxford; maternal grandmother, Gladys C. Beal of Oxford. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James O. Beal, paternal grandparents, William W. and Vallie Boyd Lane.
The family will receive friends on Sunday June 14, 2009 following the services in the Fellowship Hall of Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church. At other times they will be at the home 4016 Ed Harris Rd. Oxford, NC in the Dickerson Community.

To the family of mitchell lane i am so sorry to hear about your lost mitch was a very sweet an loving person he always mad me laugh i got in so much trouble laughing at him all throughout our school days he ALWAYS made my day in school when i was fellin down he know just what to say to make me laugh and forget what i was sad about . Julie its going to be hard i have not lost a husband but i just lost my bestfriend my father its goin to be alot of things to remind u of his just think about all the fun memories u had with him is goin to be alright just keep got first you can make it .MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
