Condolence from Stacey Pilato on August 26th, 2005 12:00 am

“Tough beans.” That’s what Michael told Theresa when she sauntered into the livingroom at Cousin Roseanne’s house at midnight during a family reunion weekend and declared she had a dream about monsters. “Did you make friends with them?” “No,” said Theresa. “Tough beans. See you in the morning.” “Ok. Goodnight,” said Theresa. And off to bed she went. Carey and I use that expression all the time with our children, Ike and Jane, whenever they whine about . . . whatever! “Like Uncle Michael says, Tough beans!” They get it, and they move on. Here’s to movin’ on, Michael. Peace be with you.
Love and honor and respect,
Stacey

Condolence from Odette & Pierre VITALE on August 27th, 2005 12:00 am

Dear Cousin Michael,

With an angel who was close to you, you spread your wings and with him you have left.
On the other bank of the life, you opened the door of the White Paradise and, now, you watches us from your cloud where you joined angels to protect those who one day will become angels.
We would have so much liked to have time with you of laughing, of crying, of forgiving, of forgetting together still for a long time, but God decided differently.
Because today our hearts are in thousand pieces and that too many tears ran on our skin, we did not realize yet, how much there is love to share yet and, may be, did not understand yet there are so many beautiful things in the life.
Even if today, there are only tears and grief in our hearts, for all this love you gave, for all these marvellous times shared with you WE WILL NEVER CEASE LOVING YOU.

So that you can rest over there, in Peace and Serenity, we send you our prayers.
Love and respect.
Odette and Pierre

Condolence from MaryAnn Mazzarella on August 27th, 2005 12:00 am

Dear Elaine, Louis & family,

I have never had the opportunity to meet your Michael even though I and our Cenacle have been praying for him these many years. I cannot begin to express my deepest sympathy and thank you for the opportunity to share in some way the celebration of Michael’s life and his journey on his way to Heaven. His picture is very close to how I pictured him. I know that upon entering the Gates of Paradise Our Heavenly Father greeted him by saying, “Well done my good and faithful servant enter now into Paradise.” We will continue to pray for all of you as you go through this difficult time but know that you now have an intercessor in Heaven who prays for you and your intentions. God bless all of you and may Our Lady hold you all close to her heart. Michael died on the eve of the anniversary of Our Lady of Medjugorje and I know she was with him to escort him to her Son.

Condolence from Arno Gardziella on September 2nd, 2005 12:00 am

Dear Pilato family, we are shocked about the for us sudden and very sad message.
Be insured for our condolence. We prayed and hoped with you, since the human hope dies at last.
What remains is the hope on the Lord and his goodness. As Romans 14,8 describes :”For whether we live, we live unto the Lord, and whether we die, we die unto the Lord : whether we live therefore or die, we are the Lord’s !”
God may bless you and give you solace in your grief.
Warm- hearty greetings,
Arno and Hannelore
