Condolence from Keith Minton on March 21st, 2007 12:00 am

I was sorry to hear of Beth’s passing last night. I first met Beth in Spanish class at Chapel Hill High School where we became fast friends…..In fact she asked me one day if I was dating anyone and I said no….She then went on to say that she knew someone who was cute and funny that needed a date to the 9th Grade Prom she even showed up to class with pictures of this person…well this person turned out to be her sister Michelle….I agreed to go and had a great time…in fact Michelle and I dated for about a year or so….I have so many great memories of that year spending the time with Michelle and the Freeman family….Beth was a special friend, sister, and daughter who will be greatly missed. God Bless!

Condolence from George Bell on March 21st, 2007 12:00 am

I had the great fortune of getting to know Beth and spending nearly five months of our lives together at the Disney World College Program in 1993. A group of us became fast friends and had some great moments with each other at the Disney Parks, going to the beach, going on a cruise to the Bahamas and, of course, many nights of partying and just hanging out having a good time. She had such a sweet spirit and a contagiously positive attitude.

It wasn’t until about a week and half ago that I learned of Beth’s illness. I’m sorry to say that we hadn’t seen one another since she came out to my wedding in 1997, the last time our Disney group was all together.

It’s hard to understand why God chooses to take someone at such a young age, but we must have faith that there is a reason. I wish all of my deepest sympathies to Beth’s family. You have lost a wonderful woman, mother, daughter and friend whose spirit will live on in each of you.

Please accept my prayers and thoughts during this diffcult time.

George

Condolence from Thomas and Michelle Buckley on March 22nd, 2007 12:00 am

My wife and I both had the pleasure of working with Beth for the Omni in Chapel Hill.
Although we had not been in contact the last few years, Michelle and I always considered Beth a true friend and one of the sweetest people God graced the earth with.
Michelle and I would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Beth’s family during this difficult time. You will be in our thoughts and prayers
