Condolences for the family of “Lois Pierce Copeland”

Condolence from Julia Webb-Bowden on December 20th, 2006 12:00 am

Our prayers are with the entire family. Lois was a refined woman of varied interests. We cherish her love for art, nature and hospitality. It was a delight to visit her in the mountains and see what birds she was feeding in that season.

Aunt Lois was and still is one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever known. I remember that when we would visit she and Uncle Chester how welcome she always made me feel . . I can still hear her voice . .it too was beautiful! I will always remember our last visit together and how beautiful she was. I can’t imagine her being any more beautiful in Heaven where she is now. I loved her dearly and await our final “Copeland” reunion with EVERYONE there. A place where there is no more suffering and pain, a place of peace and joy. A day with the Lord is like a 1000 years so not l day will pass before we are all together again. Love,
Pam Cotton Payne
I am unable to attend the celebration of her life due to illness but I will join you in spirit.

Condolence from Charles Neal on December 21st, 2006 12:00 am

We share your sorrow at the passing of Aunt Lois but celebrate her rejoining Uncle Chester. Mom is not well and is not able to attend the services, but she too is with you in spirit. Aunt Lois will always be remembered as a devoted wife to Uncle Chester, a good mother to Bobby and Jane, and a quick witted Aunt to nieces and nephews.

I am signing on behalf of my Mom, Geraldine as well as myself- she doesn\\\’t emailyet. What a sweet, sweet memorial service. A fitting tribute to a really awesome lady.I have grown up hearing story after story about all the cool things Mom did while staying with her and Uncle Chester. I will always regret not spending more time with her myself, a lesson now hard learned, unfortunately. Mom\\\’s first visit to the ocean was with her, and today remains her favorite place to be on earth. We hope you know our thoughts and prayers are with you, and Aunt Lois will always be remembered as a perfect example of feminine strength for me. Our Best, Gerry and Lisa Pollard
