Martha, It seems only yesterday we were teen agers laughing & talking about boys & having fun. Time has flown, though. So sorry about Wayne. I know you’ll miss him terribly. May your wonderful memories sustain you during this sad time… Luv Carolyn

Martha we were so sorry to hear about Wayne! Praying for you, Jerry and his sister and asking God for comfort during this difficult time. Please call us if we can help you in any way. We sure will miss Wayne and so glad he was able to come to things we had at church and in the fellowship building like the movies and banquets at Valentine’s!! He seemed to enjoy them all and was a faithful member at Providence Baptist! We love you Martha and sending up prayers for you in the difficult days ahead!!

The great Jerry Wayne Owens is resting in peace. “…He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has even put eternity in their heart… I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life; also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 3:10-13
“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, … to a resurrection of life.” John 5:28,29

Martha,
I will keep you in my prayers. I think so much of you and we just need to ask God for the strength of each day. I pray that you will feel his hands on your shoulder guiding you each day. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. I have not seen you since I took Marcia to Physical Therapy.
