My heart will be you all on the 17th, especially. I will never forget the genuine loving kindness of your mother/grandmother/great-grandmother, nor the St. Christopher’s medals she always tucked into our suitcases when we left after visiting. May she now rest in “peace at the last,” and may you, her family, know what a joy your own lives gave to her.

It has been my privilege to have taken care of Ms. Jarrell for almost three years at Hillcrest. I was also blessed to have been able to hold her hand as she made her journey to Heaven. I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to get to know her; her contagious smile and kind heart will be missed greatly. My condolences go out to her family and please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lenore,
I have heard about your mom and her life for many years. How wonderful to think that she reached the most special age mark of 100 years! Although I did not know your mother in this life, I have always pictured her as lively, spunky, smart, and savvy. Sounds sort of like you, huh, Lenore? May the memories of your mom be with you always in the years ahead. You and your family shall remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Warmest Regards & Condolences,
Michael Lindsay

Dear Phillip and family, I am very sorry to hear of your mothers passing, she was a very sweet person and always very kind to me growing up. Lots of good memories growing up in Durham around Maryland Ave. Always enjoyed going downtown to your parents feed store to see all the animals and baby chicks with Phil Jr.

Condolence from Camillo R Fernandes on June 23rd, 2015 10:17 am

Mark, I am sorry I did not get to attend the services held at Immaculate Conception. I was in Seattle and read about the passing of your mother in the Sunday bulletin on June 21. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. I knew your mother because Hemant Karnik roomed with her while he was at Watts School of Medical Technology and we used to come play ping pong at the house next to Watts. She always made us welcome.
Camillo Fernandes.
