I am so very saddened to hear of the passing of my very dear friend JB. I feel blessed to have known her first as a student in my courses at Meredith College and later as wonderful and very trusted friend.
She will live always in my heart.
My thoughts and prayers are with all
of her loved ones.

JB was such a giving and lively person. She shared her love and her talents generously with me and with my Kindergarten students at Fox Road Elementary. My students and I loved her and looked forward to her visits to read and sing and participate in our activities. She always had a new book to donate and a smile to share. One of my cherished memories was of her helping the children dye Easter eggs. JB truly enjoyed watching the amazement of the children as they explored mixing the colors! She graciously donated her time as a mentor to me as I did classroom activities funded by Wake Education grants.
I personally appreciate all the time she spent helping me with business strategies so I could attain some of my dreams to work as a journalist and inspired me to strive to do my best in my writing career. I praise the Lord for the time we shared.
