Condolence from Phyllis Dewar on January 13th, 2014 12:00 am

Harry said that his passion was growing peanuts. However, it appears that he had numbers of passions. What about supporting a Haitian child or teaching a Sunday school class or getting a puppy for Dixie or encouraging with a little bribe others to get involved in United Methodist Lay Speakers program or providing transportation as needed or counseling friends at any level or using technology in worship or . . . a plethora of others. Harry was a delightful person; I’m pleased to have known him. Prayers to Dixie and family.

These changes are difficult and I am remembering your family in prayers for strength and comfort during this time.

There is not a thing to say that I think helps, except to say that I have found comfort for my own losses in the fact that, “Separation is temporary and reunion is forever.”

Blessings,
