On February 19, 2008, so it was that the Comforter came to take my beloved wife to that eternal silence as she breathed her last earthly breath on Tuesday afternoon, February 19, 2008 at Durham Regional Hospital in Durham, NC.
Haleema Rebecca Dunegan Morris, the daughter of the late Jonah and Cora Dunegan, was born on March 13, 1945 in Durham, NC. She was educated in the Durham Public School system and was united in holy matrimony to Alford Forney Morris on December 17, 1969.

Haleema attended Mt. Olive AME Zion Church and enjoyed her time in Sunday school when she was able to attend.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mary McDougald and Naomi Lewis; and two brothers: E.J. Dunegan and Joseph Hill Dunegan.
Haleema leaves to cherish and mourn her loss: husband, Alford F. Morris of Durham, NC; her brother, Jonathan “Nathan” Dunegan, also of Durham; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn P. Dunegan and Pearl Lies; several nieces and nephews and a host of loving relatives and friends.
