
OXFORD:
Fannie Daniel Malloy, age 94, died Thursday, August 20, 2009. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late John Ashton and Fannie Morton Daniel and the widow of the late James L. Malloy.
Mrs. Malloy was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurses Corp in WW II.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2009 at Tranquility Cemetery by the Rev. Jason Leonard. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving is her son, John A. Malloy.
