Emma Mangum Turrentine

Mrs. Emma Mangum Turrentine, 81, died Saturday morning in Durham Regional Hospital.

A native of Granville county, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Lula Evans Turrentine. She lived in New York City for most of her adult life and moved to Durham in 1972.

Surviving are one daughter, Jean Louretta Jackson of Suitland, MD. and one son Luther S. Mangum of Raleigh; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday at the Mt. Level Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Burton will preside.

Visitation will be held 12:00 to 1:30 PM Friday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
