Dave,
It was a pleasure playing trombone along side of you in the Raleigh and Durham Symphonies for the past 8 years. Your musicianship and great sense of humor will be sorely missed my friend.

Condolence from Donnell Landen on September 4th, 2008 12:00 am

David,
I loved you dearly. You were a source of music and math knowledge that I will always miss. I will never forget ‘who’s your buddy’ and ‘don’t prove me wrong’ as our favorite memories! I trust by now you have had a wonderful reunion with your mom! She’s probably so happy to see you! She loved you so!
Our ‘Broken Road’ certainly took an unwelcomed turn.

I am so very sorry for your loss.
I hope in the days, weeks and years to come that you will remember how much your dad loved and cherished you. He was always so proud of you.
