Doug,girls and family,

I worked with Tammy at the doctor office and Tammy is like a sister to me and I met Cynthia on several occasions and she was a beautiful person on the inside and out. She loved her family and touched so many people. I know this is a difficult time for you and it doesn’t get easier but find comfort in knowing she is in a better place and she isn’t suffering anymore and that she is always with you. She lives in each of you. God will be with you and you will continue to be in my prayers.

Condolence from Melissa Schuchardt Austin on July 30th, 2008 12:00 am

I was one of Mrs. Twisdale’s students more than 10 years ago. As a teacher myself I look back now at how much she helped shaped the person I have become. She was a wonderful person in and out of the classroom. She was very proud of her family and spoke of them often.. the girls were just babies then and beaming with pride, she would tell us all about the girls and their mildstones. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers.

Condolence from Melinda Maxwell on July 30th, 2008 12:00 am

I taught business education with Cynthia at South Granville High School. She was the type of teacher who had a special gift for relating to her students. As my mentor teacher, she took great care to guide me to become a successful teacher. She inspired me to become active in school activities and to relate to my students on a more personal level. I’ve always admired her tireless devotion to everyone and everything she touched. I was blessed to know her and honored to teach beside her.

Condolence from Christine Cox Woelk on July 30th, 2008 12:00 am

I had the pleasure of having Ms. Twisdale as a teacher over 10 years ago and then the extreme pleasure of working with her at SGHS. She was always an inspiration to me in school and at the work place. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this hard time.

Doug, Laura and Jessi

Words cannot express how much I will miss Cynthia. Working with her through FBLA for the past 14 years will be something I will never forget. She was always willing to help and did just that as I became board member for our region. She was one of the first to call when I lost my mother as well. She had a smile that I will remember always. I know you will miss her as I do but remember she is always in our hearts. You all are in my continued prayers.

Condolence from Samantha Patterson on August 6th, 2008 12:00 am

Doug & girls:

I know what it’s like to lose a parent at so young an age, and for the parent left behind to lose their one true love… I feel your pain. She was such a lovely woman. Taught me accounting my senior year at South Granville and I will never forget her. I am glad that she is at Jesus’s feet–feeling better than she ever has. May you all be comforted in knowing that she dwells with the Savior.

Condolence from Hope on August 10th, 2008 12:00 am

Ms. Twisdale was my teacher in Franklinton back in 1989 and 1990. She was a wonderful teacher. I could not beleive it when I heard she was no longer with us. It is so sad that a wonderful person like her was here for just a short time. I guess God needed some good teachers and he figured she was one of the best, and she was.
My son started South Granville High School two years ago and I heard that Ms. Twisdale was teaching there. I wanted to go see her, but was always to busy. Last school year I made the time to go to her class and see her and I am so glad that I did. I was glad to see her and she also remembered me and was glad to see me. I also had the chance to see her several days later in the hallway and was able to intruduce my son to her, as he never had her as a teacher, and she told me about her two daughters. She was a wonderful person. She will be missed by many. I know that she made an impression on my life as a teacher and I know there are so many more. After all, if she was not a good teacher and kind I would not have taken the time to go and see her, but she was WONDERFUL.Your family will be in my prayers.
Hope Layton
