Condolence from Pam Casdorph on August 29th, 2017 10:00 pm

I remember the first day I met her. I remember thinking what are unique spirit she had such an artist heart and she was brilliant. She had such creative ideas about environmental issues. We had fun riding bikes and exploring the environment together and studying together. She was an amazing young mind. She loved her parents and family. The last garden we planted together was the butterfly garden at Catawba. Butterflies were important to her. I touched base with her after she got her chef job. She seemed to be so happy. I’m so sad she has gone before she had a lot of time here but she was a brilliant light in this dimly lit world. She will be greatly missed. So thankful for all the laughter we shared. Always

Condolence from Oleg Nepliouev on August 31st, 2017 11:48 am

I will never forget how kind, warm, and welcoming Britt was to me personally in high school. At a time when i was struggling socially and was still an awkward teen Britt accepted me as a friend.

She was always accepting of the differences of others and is someone that i will always consider to be a friend who was a positive role model in my life. I can’t speak for others but she helped me personally a great deal in accepting me for who i was.

I offer deepest condolences to her family for their loss. The world lost a good person that day but the impression she left on those around her lives on in their/my heart.
