Beulah C. Williamson

Beulah C. Williamson, age 95, died September 14, 2009 at the Carolina House of Durham. Born in Sampson County, NC, on February 8, 1914, she was the daughter of the late David Ashley Williamson and Bertha Herring Williamson.

Miss Williamson moved to Durham in 1922. She was the treasurer of Durham City Schools for many years prior to retiring in 1979, and a long time member of Temple Baptist Church. Friends will be received in the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 17, 2009, from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with Rev. Norman Harris presiding. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Beulah is survived by her nieces, Nancy W. Watkins of Durham; Hazel W. Moses, of Raleigh; and Betsy W. Dodson of Reno, Nevada, several great nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 4504 Sterling Drive, Durham, NC 27712
