Timothy Mark Stanley, 44, of Elizabeth Lane in Apex died December 26, 2011 following a period of declining health.

Born in Cleveland, OH on April 5, 1967, he was a son of Barbara Ann Kiser Stanley and the late Robert W. Stanley, Sr. Timothy moved to the Chatham County area about ten years ago from his native Cleveland. An auto body technician, Timothy enjoyed working on cars, especially creating custom paint jobs. A Baptist, he loved drag racing cars, riding motorcycles, and fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Riddle of Greeneville, TN; daughter, Sarah Stanley of Cleveland, OH; son, Timothy Davis of Cleveland, OH; brother, Robert William Stanley, Jr. of Apex; sister, Kathy Stanley Hogan of Cleveland, OH; aunts, uncles, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The service to celebrate the life of Timothy will be conducted by Pastor Bob Wachs at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, December 31, 2011 at Hall – Wynne Funeral Home in Pittsboro. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6 – 9 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Stanely Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Timmy
I have fond memories of him. He on ocassion would drive me to school and our father’s worked together back in the day. What I remember most is that he was always happy and an upbeat guy and good person and he will be truly missed by all.
