I wanted to you all know I was praying for Tessa at the crash site. We were about 15 cars behind the accident, driving home from Liberty University. We were 11 miles into our trip when traffic came to a holt! My husband, daughter and grandson all prayed. I am sorry for your loss. I pray God will help you during this tough time. I am committed to pray for you all. I hope to meet Tessa in heaven one day!
God bless you!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lentz,
I spoke with my former neighbor Gwen this morning and I am so sorry about Tessa’s unfortunate passing….we just can’t comprehend why things happen such as these…..I remember Tessa from my horseriding days….She was a free spirit and loved riding horses as I did. She was blessed with 5 children….her legacy will live on with them….I taught second grade at Chatham Charter the last couple of years but did not have the opportunity to meet Tessa’s daughter Olivia. It is ironic that I also have a daughter named Olivia. I do have pictures of Tessa and I riding horses bareback in the Oldham pond in Pittsboro… I will give those to Gwen. Take Care, you all are heavy in my thoughts and prayers! I hope I get the opportunity to get to know Olivia. I know she is a special girl. I also look forward to seeing Tessa in heaven one day as well. Please contact me through Gwen if there is anything I can do to help.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss; I didn’t know her but death is something that affects us all. The Bible has different accounts one found at Luke 7:11-15 where Jesus resurrected family members that died. It points to a wonderful time in the near future where we see the resurrection hope occur on a grander scale earth wide. Perhaps you will see you

Ty and Family,
My name is Cathi and Tessa left a huge imprint on my life. She saved me. She brought me closer to God. She was the kind of person that was always there for me or anyone who reached out to her. She had a loving heart and cared so much about her family. She was a wonderful mother. I do pray that Olivia, TJ and Tanner will be able to stay together as a family. I know thats what Tessa would want. They need each other now more than ever. Ty my condolences to you, she loved you very much as she always told me. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I miss her very much and will be keeping in touch. In loving memory of Ms Tessa xoxoxoxoxoxo

We were on our way home from vacation when we came upon the accident. I held the littlest boy on in my lap until the paramedics could take care of him. He is such a sweet boy. My whole family is upset with the outcome of this accident. We are thinking of you. Be Well and remember your mom loves you always.

I just came across this in a search for Tessa. This really breaks my heart. I am not sure if this will get to the family but I am so sorry for her loss. She was my best friend when I lived in Chapel Hill and we kept in touch for many years after. I lost touch after moving a few too many times. My maiden name was Tanya Stayner. I have a few pictures of her and myself that I am happy to share. Tessa was a beautiful, funny, smart, wild and loyal friend. I am better for having known her. Prayers to the family.
