Born and raised in Smoaks, SC she moved to Durham in 1943 and worked in various retail positions, retiring from Central Carolina Bank in 1989.
She was a caring mother who loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. Sue had a strong faith in God and Jesus Christ and a strong belief in her church’s mission to serve others. Dear Dorothy and family,
I was so sad to hear of Sue’s passing.
Kelly called me and told me last week.
Sue and I were neighbors at north pointe apts. She was always so sweet and kind to me. I would come home from work and her beautiful flowers always made me smile.
I missed her when I moved, and tried to contact to her once or twice.
I left her a message wishing her a Merry Christmas last year.
I know your hearts are heavy but I hope you can find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
Sincerely, Joann McClintock
I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady.
Dorothy & family. With our deepest sympathy. Remembering her and you in our prayers. She is in God’s care.
