Condolence from Hillman Currin Jr. on January 23rd, 2012 12:00 am

I grew up on Belle Street in Oxford, and knew Sigma and Ann and all of their extended family. Sigma gave me golf lessons in the 50’s, and I enjoyed his humor and easy way of correcting my mistakes. I recall playing a round of golf with Sigma, Jimmy Breedlove, Hillman Currin Sr., and myself. No caddies were available that day, so we open the trunk of Jimmy’s Buick and played 9 holes of golf using the Buick as a golf cart. I enjoyed that round better than any I have ever played. My condolences to Ann and Jimmy. Your dad will be missed.

Hillman Currin Jr.
Oxford, N.C.
