Hope Campbell Sigora, 48, of Oxford died Thursday, January 14, 2016. She was a native of Granville County, the daughter of Barbara C. Campbell and the late Donald A. Campbell.
Hope was a graduate of J. F. Webb High School, Class of 1985; a graduate of Campbell University, Class of 1989; and a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, Class of 1992. She was a member of Delrayno Baptist Church serving as Assistant Sunday School Superintendant, Baptist Young Women’s Director, Deacon, Choir Director for 20 years, a member of the Hand Bell Choir, and the Instrumental Ensemble.
Hope was a member of the Oxford Lions Club, a former member of the Granville County Planning Board, a former employee as a Paralegal for Cox and Cox law firm of Raleigh, and a current employee of ten years with Gwynn and Edwards Law Firm of Raleigh.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband Joseph Wilbur Sigora, a sister Faith C. Watkins (Don) of Oxford, nephews Landon (Jennifer) and Justin (Jennifer) Watkins, great nieces and nephews Amber, Lila, Elliott, Seby, Piper, Kaden, and her special pet “Sadie Catherine”.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM – 8:00PM Saturday January 16, 2016 at Gentry – Newell & Vaughan Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00PM on Sunday January 17, 2016 at Delrayno Baptist Church by Reverend D L Page. Burial will follow in the Royster Cemetery, Bullock, NC.
