Timothy Jason Mangum

TIMBERLAKE – Timothy Jason Mangum age 55, died at home on April 27th, 2025. He was born on April 8th, 1970, to Timothy Bruce Mangum and Andrea Odom Bowen.

Jason grew up in Durham, NC and graduated from Northern High School in 1988. He served in the US Navy. He later went to trucking school and drove cross country. Many years later he attended Wake Technical Community College, achieving his Associate Degree in Graphic Designs. He was a freelance photographer and enjoyed taking pictures of sports, friends and family.

Jason enjoyed spending time with family, gaming with his friends, and all things Duke Blue Devils. He supported the local Durham Firebirds, Youth Football League.

Jason is survived by his, wife, Stacey Mangum, mother, Andrea (Andi) Bowen, sons Christopher and Andrew Mangum (Timberlake) and his step-daughters, Janeen Webb (Durham) and Devin Miles (Jay), and sister, Brandy Mangum (Durham), step-mother, Lu Ann Mangum, uncle, Tony Mangum (Lisa) and many dear, loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Bruce Mangum.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Hall Wynne Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel.
