DURHAM- Mrs. Rita Whitfield Evans, 94, passed away, Sunday, March 1. 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 414 Cleveland Street, Durham, NC 27701.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 414 Cleveland Street, Durham, NC 27701. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Davis and Pastor Andy Winn. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
