Myra Hall, age 96, of Chapel Hill died Monday, July 21st unexpectedly in the arms of her daughter. She was born October 7th, 1928 in the town of Star in Montgomery County, North Carolina. She was the third child of James Edgar and Bonnie Maness.
Myra Graduated from Flora McDonald College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics and moved to Pinehurst soon after to work at Moore Regional hospital as assistant head dietician and made Moore County her home. In 1953 she married the late Fred Hall Jr. The couple were lifetime members of Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Southern Pines.
Myra is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Bone and husband Samuel Bone, grandsons Nicholas Bone of Chapel Hill and Michael Bone of Washington, DC. as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Myra strived to practice her Christian values daily and valued her wonderful family God had given her.
A grave side ceremony will be held on Saturday July 26th at 10:30AM at Old Bethesda Church Cemetery in Aberdeen, North Carolina
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Sandhills Children’s Center. Southern Pines, NC.
