Linda Faye Baber – Loving Mother, Memaw, and Great Memaw.

She is survived by her devoted children: Darrell Baber (longtime partner Gloria Orlandi), Rick Baber (wife Carolyn Baber), Regina McAlexander (husband Eddie McAlexander), Robert Baber (wife Mary Baber), and Todd Baber (wife Tami Baber).

Linda’s legacy continues through her twelve cherished grandchildren: Sam Baber, Zach Baber, Daylon McAlexander (girlfriend Molly Carter), Johnny McAlexander (wife Kelly McAlexander), Heather James (husband Brandon James), Josh Baber, Jake Baber, Tripp Jackson, Carter Jackson, Lauren Ziegler (husband Tyler Ziegler), Brooke Thompson (husband Ryan Thompson), and Hunter Erwin (wife Katie Erwin).

She also leaves behind nine beloved great-grandchildren: Cheyenne McAlexander, Katie McAlexander, Kacie McAlexander, Addie James, Raelee Ziegler, Rowen Ziegler, Sam Thompson, Sawyer Thompson, and Cheyenne Erwin.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam Baber, who adored her, and her mother, Bonnie Haynes. Though she is deeply missed, her family rejoices in the assurance that she has entered into eternal rest and is now reunited with her beloved husband in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

A service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 9th at New Horizon Church, 100 Horizon Place Durham, NC 27705. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
