Kimberly Ann Cornwell

Kimberly Ann Cornwell was born on May 15, 1964, to parents, Ronald and Daune Starkweather. She was born into eternal life on July 15, 2025, at 3:15am at Duke University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Kimberly was an amazing and loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Her favorite way to spend her time was surrounded by friends and family. She always had a lot of love to give to everyone, be that in the form of a hot meal, some good mom advice, or just a safe place to feel accepted. She was a caretaker to everyone and brought so much light and love to everyone that she knew.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents and her Uncle Bob. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Burtnett (Aaron), Matthew Cornwell, Julianne Malin (Joel), and her “adopted” daughter Tia (Tee) Crawford; her grandchildren: Jordan and Zaine Burtnett, and Aubrey Cornwell; her husband Richard Cornwell; her loving parents, Ronald and Daune Starkweather; her sisters: Debbie Miller (Phil) and Cindy Ferger (Jeff); her nieces: Stephanie Miller and Leah Ferger; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was very loved, and she will be very missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
