Evelyn Webster Upchurch

Evelyn Webster Upchurch, age 91, died peacefully Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Roxboro Nursing Center. A native of Durham, she was born April 7, 1923 to the late Hildred and Maude Whitfield Webster. Evelyn is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Upchurch of Cary, NC; three brothers, Reuben, Ted and Willis Webster; and two grandchildren, John Gregory Upchurch and Jeremy Lee Upchurch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert T. Upchurch, Sr., her sons, Rupert T. Upchurch, Jr. and David T. Upchurch; two brothers, H.A. Webster and Daniel Webster; and four sisters, Betsy Webster Baugher, Peggy Webster Hall, Elizabeth Stacy and Mildred Spansy; Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in Maplewood Cemetery, Section 18, with the Rev.
