Deborah Hamlet Herndon

Deborah H Herndon, age 65, died at Duke Hospital on July 8,2025.

She was born on 10/17/1959 to Ben and Margaret Hamlet.

Debbie attended Jordan High School in Durham and was an insurance underwriter manager for Jackson Sumner and Associates.

Debbie’s favorite activity was spending time with her grandson Noah. The two of them were the apple of each others eyes.

Debbie is survived by her grandson Noah Parker, father Ben H Hamlet, Sister Cindy H Dillehay, nephew Stewart P Dillehay, Aunt Jane Searls.

Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter Natalie Ruth Herndon, Mother Margaret V Hamlet, Brother in law Stewart P Dillehay (SP)

The funeral is set for Tuesday July 15, 2025. Visitation is At 1:00 pm, Service is at 2:00 pm with burial following.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Duke Hospice.
