Cindy Gonzalez Mcclary

Mrs. Cindy Luz Gonzalez McClary died August 14, 2023 in Durham, NC.

She was born May 22, 1960, to Modesto and Ana Ramos-Gonzalez of Waukegan, IL. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an annual volunteer for North Chicago Youth Programs, loved cooking and had a fabulous flare for fashion and style.

Mrs. McClary is preceded in death by her son, Isaac Hood Sr., and survived by her husband of 26 years, George A. McClary; daughters, Queona Hood, and LaShandra (LaeLae) Gonzalez; step-sons, Michael McClary and Jordan McClary; Siblings, Modesto (Mark) Ramos Jr., Ana Ramos, David Gonzalez, Maria (Lucy) Gonzalez, Antonio Ramos Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, and Jose (Danny) Gonzalez;

grandchildren, LaMiaya Brown, Lamar Miller Jr., LaMier Gonzalez, Isaac Louis, Dazyere Louis, Jalaya Williams, Sha’aliyah Dock-Hood, Ike’yla Hood, Ikea Hood, Isaac Hood Jr., Brianna Ellis, Tatiana Ellison, Ariana Ellison, Aja Mayfield, Terryana Whitfield, Aaryonna Collins and Aaron Collins many great-grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews., and a host of loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
