Hillsborough, NC – Billy Owen McKellar, 89, passed at the VA Medical Center in Durham, NC on May 19th, 2026. He was born on January 14th, 1937, to the late Manley and Viola McKellar.
Billy is survived by his cousin, Alvis "Butch" Rigsbee of Bullock, NC and other family members and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret McKellar, who passed in 2017.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 1:00pm at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Cameron Currin officiating.
