Durham – Anthony William Pizzino, age 96, died in Durham on January 9, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1929 to the late Basilio and Giuseppina Pizzino.
Beloved husband and father Anthony “Tony” Pizzino grew up and lived his life in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born a twin brother to Vincent Pizzino and the two brothers remained close for their long lives. He was also the brother to Samuel and James Pizzino and Grace Incristi. Well loved by all, Tony always had a ready smile and can-do attitude. He built and ran several large divisions of Lifetime Cookware around the country. Tony and Vince caddied as children and retained a love of golf their whole life, playing in leagues with Sammy and other lifelong friends. Tony loved photography and was active with his wife Annette Pizzino in the Great Lakes Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society where Annette produced a monthly newsletter and Tony provided beautiful photos. He was a powerful, positive and loving man and he will be missed.
Tony Pizzino is survived by his wife Annette Pizzino, and daughters Julie Lear and Joanne Pizzino.
Memorial services to be held in Cleveland, Ohio. Date to be announced.
