Paul Wright Council

Paul Wright Council, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2018 in Oxford, NC. He was born in Durham, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Cecil Council and Helen Spencer Council; and great nephew, Brandon Michael Strickland. Paul is survived by his sister, Fannie Strickland (Roy) of Oxford, NC; nephews, RC Strickland (Kimberly); and Sam Strickland; great nieces and nephews; aunts; as well as many cousins; other family members; and friends. He had a devoted love for his pet cat, Geronimo. Paul was a member of Lowe's Grove Baptist Church in Durham, NC. and was a 1983 graduate of Southern High School in Durham. A memorial service will be held on October 7, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Lowe's Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 4430 S. Alston Ave, Durham, NC. Frank Shipp and Forest Gale will officiate.
