Patricia ???Pat??? Louise Sessions

d. April 5, 2019

Patricia ???Pat??? Louise Sessions (nee Wigren) passed away at the age of 71 on April 5, 2019, after a short battle with a long illness. She is survived by George, Harry, Sam, Fred, Christopher Robin, and Winee the Pooh. Most people know them better as her ???sons??? Christopher Richard Heinze (and daughter-in-law Patricia Bergquist), Robin ???twinee toes??? Virginia Johnson (and son-in-law Gil), Peter ???Rabbit??? Johneeinze, and Jonathan ???Re-Pete??? Nathaniel Sessions. She is also survived by two grandsons, Donovan Christopher and Joseph William Heinze. She was born in Jamestown, NY, to her parents Harry and Joyce Wigren and attended Gustavus Adolphus College before starting her first wave of family. After having her mid-life crisis child, she graduated from Randolph-Macon Women???s College at the age of 52, changing her major from museum studies to politics to find a job that was less political. She had 5,384 interests, but we can???t afford that much space, so we???re just listing her special loves here. She liked knitting, Africa, reading, Art of any kind (including Garfunkel, aneespecially botanical drawings and arrangements), not wearing her glasses, critters of all sorts including ???flink pamingos???, ???Tea??? rex, NCIS (and all its spinoffs) and supporting your sports team by not watching their games. She was always bright and knew the news and weather in your hometowneefore you did. She loved people and would tell her life story to anyone who didn???t walk away fast enough. She also liked to make people laugh and was disappointed when no pun ineen did. Despite not likineexercise (because it would spill her coffee), she developed a late love of watching cycling. She did not want to be cremated since she was afraid of fire (which also ruled out her dream of a traditional Swedish Viking funeral), so she will have a simple ???green??? burial oneednesday, April 10 at 1:30 PM at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite environmental charity, with the recommendations of the Southern Environmental Law Center or the Nature Conservancy.
