Ora Mae Kemp Capps, 91, of Bullock, NC died Sunday, August 30, 2020. She was born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia on July 26, 1929, daughter of the late Ansel Joshua Kemp and Morado Rogers Green Kemp.

Ora Mae married her late husband, William “Dickie” Capps, in 1950 and settled in the Bullock community in 1952, where they raised a family and were valuable members to the community.

Ora Mae is survived by her son, William Dale Capps; daughter, Wanda Capps Pulley (Don); grandchildren, Nathaniel Capps, Alan Capps (Michele), Sheena Lebbos (Jimmie), and Chelsi Junkin (Daniel); great grandchildren, Kevin Capps, Chris Capps, Holly Capps, Kellan Junkin, and Emmett Junkin. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Ora Mae is predeceased by her brother Nathaniel A. Kemp and daughter-in-law Wanda Marie Capps.

A private service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Bullock Baptist Church, 4078 Buckhorn Rd, Bullock NC. Burial will follow in Royster Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the church’s Family Life Center immediately following the graveside committal.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Ora Mae’s name to the Bullock Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 4078 Buckhorn Rd, Bullock, NC 27507.
