Nancy Lloyd Corner

Nancy Lloyd Corner, age 73, died peacefully on January 28, 2012 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born in Washington, DC to the late Edmund H. and Mary Jane Brahany Lloyd. Nancy led a diverse aneeventful life having been a New York-based model, TV weather womaneemployee of AT&T and a freelance graphic artist. She authored a book, Shrdlu Pops, about her grandfather and her memories of him within the Washington D.C. political circles. Nancy loved socializing with friends and cared greatly for her beloved pets, most notably her collies. She was known to burst into song and had a wonderful smile that engaged people immediately. Nancy is survived by her soneedward L. Field and wife, Barbara, of Durham, NC; her daughter, Wendy Field; and three grandchildren, Catherine, Caroline and Matthew Field. She was preceded ineeath by her husbands, Sheldon Corner aneedward Ashley Field. Services in Durham, NC will be private with burial scheduled at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 13, at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, 2020 Laskin Rd. in Virginia Beach, VA.
