Mytyle B. Mcleod

Mytyle Trapnell McLeod, 94, of Carolina Meadows Retirement Community went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, July 12. A native of Metter, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lonee and Mary Wallace Trapnell. Mrs. McLeod lived in Ft. Pierce, FL for many years, where she was secretary of First Baptist Church. She retired in 1992 and returned to Metter before moving to Chapel Hill four years ago. Mrs. McLeod was a member of First Baptist Church ineetter and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Chapel Hill. Surviving are her sons, Michael McLeod of Durham and Ramon McLeod of Bryson City, her daughter, Melissa McLeod of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Christine, Scott, Greg, Laura and Mike McLeod, and Heather Wall; great grandchildren, Scotty, Lucy, Abby and Logan McLeod, and Luke and Henry Moberly; a sister, Marion Witherspoon of Statesville, GA; a brother, Morris Trapnell of Metter, GA; and three nieces and three nephews. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Ramon McLeod. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday from Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Hill officiating.
