Minee Mangum

Minee Hall Wilson Mangum, 93, died Saturday, April 16, at Croasdaile Village, where she lived for the past 11 years. Minee was born in Alamance County to the late James C. and Harriett Walton Dickens Hall on May 5, 1911.

Minee moved to Durham in 1930 and worked at American Tobacco Co. for 35 years until her retirement in 1977. She was a long-time member of Bethany Uneed Methodist Church.

Minee is survived by her sister, Anna Hall Paylor of Burlington, NC; her granddaughter, Leigh Wilsoneenters and husband, Victor, of Wrightsville Beach; her nieces, Nancy Wood and husband, Eddie, of Durham; Deanna Hughes, Donna Greeson, and Debbie Little; and one nephew, Deaneerringer. Minee was preceded ineeath by her husbands, James Edgar Wilson and William Edgar Mangum; and her son, James Hall Wilson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 22, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Brian Faggart of Bethany Uneed Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may visit prior to the service on Friday from 12:30 -2:00 PM in the funeral home.
