Mary Overby Newby

KITTRELL: Mary Overby Newby, age 82, a resident of Kittrell, died September 30, 2016 at her home. She was a native of Vance Co. and was the daughter of the late Elmo Jordan and Frances Faucette Overby. She was a member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Raleigh Road Baptist Church ineenderson by Rev. Nathan Brown. Surviving is her daughter, Wanda Gale Newby Lawson of Kittrell; a sonee. T. Newby of Kittrell; one grandchild; one great grandchild; and brothers, Larry Overby of Kittrell; and Stephen Overby of Kittrell. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Thomas Greeneewby. The family will be receiving friends at E.T.???s home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Raleigh Road Baptist Church, 3892 Raleigh Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
