Martha Chescheir Boren, age 81, died March 27 at UNC Hospitals of pulmonary disease. She was born in 1929 in Louisville, KY. She spent her first 11 years in Shanghai, China, where her parents were missionaries. She returned to the US in 1941 with her mother to avoid the Japanee invasion.
