Lavon Moretz Spaulding

Mrs. Lavon Moretz Spaulding, 93, of Pittsboro died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Laurels of Chatham. The daughter of John and Cora Luther Moretz, Mrs. Spaulding was born in Ashe County on March 10, 1916. She was a homemaker and a member of Chatham Uneed Methodist Church. Mrs. Spaulding was the widow of Austin M. Spaulding. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Chatham Uneed Methodist Church by the Reverend Patrick Sinclair. Friends may visit with the family in the church fellowship hall following the service. Graveside rites will be held at 12:00 nooneednesday, October 14, 2009 at Calvary Uneed Methodist Church Cemetery in the Fleetwood community of Ashe County.
