Laverne Troutman

LaVerne Troutman, 81, peacefully passed away ineer home at Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro NC on Friday, June 20, 2014 following a 2 -year battle with leukemia. LaVerne was born on May 27, 1933 ineerks County, PA to the late Mary Beekey and Henry Wartluft. She met her husband, Paul Henry Troutman while caroling with friends. The two married four years later, on June 25, 1955, and resided in Princeton, NJ, Boston, MA, Schenectady, NY, Columbus, OH and Cincinnati, OH. LaVerne spent much of her early married life voluneering for such worthy causes as Friends in Action and Special Olympics. After her childreneere grown, she established and raneer own business, Camargo Travel, for 30 years. Together, she and Paul fulfilled their lifelong passion of travelling the world. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Troutman; her daughters, Jenneer Troutman of Kansas City, KS and Heather Troutman of Pittsboro, NC; and her son, Gregory Blair Troutman and his wife, Diane, of Seattle, WA and their two childreneemma Troutman and Wade Troutman. A memorial service for Mrs. Troutman will be held at Galloway Ridge ineearrington Village, NC on July 19, 2014 at 10:30 A.M.
