Kevin Charles Kennedy

OXFORD: Kevin Charles Kennedy, age 26, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Duke Medical Center in Durham. He was a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, and was the son of Charles Drew Kennedy of Louisville, KY. and Jessica Laine Kennedy of Oxford. Kevin was a member of Harvest Christian Ministries and worked for Perry Brothers Tire service in Oxford. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM at South Granville Memorial Cemetery by the Reverend Rusty Williamson. Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Danielle Nicole Kennedy of Stem; two sons, Kevineesley Kennedy and Johnethyn Rollen-Gregory Kennedy; daughter Kearstyn Chyanne Kennedy; brother, Bryan Drew Kennedy of Oxford; sisters, Britteny Kennedy of Louisville, KY and Kellie Nichole Sost of Raleigh; paternal grandmother, Janet Philpps of Louisville, KY; maternal grandmother, Ellen Johnston of Oxford and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Johnston of Okeechobee, FL; maternal great-grandmother, Janet Johnston of Connecticut; stepfather, Rollen Cobb of Oxford, one nephew, and many aunts, unees and cousins. He was preceded ineeath by his paternal grandfather, Charles Kennedy. The family will receive friends Wednesday night, August 8, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home in Oxford.
