Evelyneere Knox, age 49, passed away at her residence Monday morning, October 5, 2009, after a difficult battle with brain cancer. Born in Wiesbadeneermany, March 30, 1960, she was the daughter of William J. Pere and the late Dora Moreau Pere. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and co-workers for her bouneess energy, cheerful sense of humor, and devotion to those close to her. A great friend and companioneevelyn was cherished by many. Evelyn was best known for her strength, compassion, and deep sense of loyalty. Blessed throughout her life with beauty and charm, she left a lasting impression on those around her. Her passing at such a young age leaves all who knew her with a profound sense of loss. A loving mother, a devoted sister and aunt, and a dedicated wife, she will remain forever in our hearts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 2:00 PM Thursday from St. Matthew Catholic Church, with Father Robert Diegelman presiding. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery. In addition to her father she is survived by her husband, Stephen Knox, daughter Ashley Clayton and Katelyn Knox all of Timberlake; brothers, Richard Pere, Bill Pere, David Pere, Scott Pere; sisters, Marie Milton, Francis Wright, Nancy Furmage and Joyce Barnes Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
