OXFORD: Estelle Averette O'Brian, 84 a resident of Range Rd. Rougemont, died Wednesday May 15, 2013. A native of Granville Co. and the widow of the late Clarence Beam Bunny O'Brian whom she was married to for 45 years. She was the daughter of the late Macon William Averett I and Clara Samuel Daniel. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a long time member of the church choir and a long time Sunday school teacher of older pre-school children and was a home maker. Estelle graduated from Berea High School in the last class with 11 grades in 1945. She attended Campbell College aneeast Carolina Uneersity. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday May 18, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Williams. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be private. Surviving are a son, Samuel A. O'Brian and wife Teresa of Rougemont; five grandchildren, Melissa Tignor, Samuel Beam O'Brian, Matthew O'Brian, Ramona Sherman and Thomas G. Sherman, Jr.; two sisters, Helen A. Daniel of Rougemont aneedna A. Robinson of Fequay -Varina; one brother, Macon William Averette II; three great grandchildren, Heilay, J. D. and Stephan Tignor. She was preceded ineeath by a son, C. Michael O'Brian, daughter, Barbara O'Brian Sherman and brother Frank Jefferson Averette. Flowers are accepted or memorials canee made to Mt.
