Elaine King Morgan, 55, died peacefully February 17th, 2018 at the Duke Hospital Hospice Hock House. She was born in Granville County, North Carolina oneeptember 4, 1962 to the late Sue Margaret King and the late Willard Wilson King, both of Granville County, North Carolina. Born and raised in Oxford, North Carolina, Elaine grew up in the Enon Community where she enjoyed her childhood growing up on a tobacco and dairy farm. She was predeceased by her late husband of 22 years, Ronee Morgan. She attended Vance Granville Community College and later became employed with Revlon where she spent the majority of her adult life working through various levels of the company. Elaine developed a multitude of friends and co-workers that have been a tremendous support group to her throughout her life but especially ineer final days. Elaine had a passion for the outdoors and a love for animals aneenjoyed spending time with friends. Elaine is survived by her children, Joshua Ramsey of Oxford, Darrin Ramsey of Oxford, Crystal Baker (Brandon) of Smithfield and Jonathan Morgan (Sandy) of Wendell; grandchildren, Aiden, Jackson, Nathan and Lynnox. She is also survived by her sister, Gay King Stallings and brother, Bill King. The family will receive guests for visitation on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, February 19th, 2018 at 11:00 am at Enon Baptist Church, 2298 Enon Road, Oxford NC 27565. Burial will immediately follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to Enon Baptist Church. The Morgan family is under the care of Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home in Oxford.
