Edward Joseph Peloquin

Edward Joseph Peloquin, 75, died peacefully at the VA Medical Center in Durham NC on April 21, 2018. He was born on June 24, 1942 in Pawtucket, RI, the son Alphonse and Jeannette (LaPlante) Peloquin. ???Ed??? is survived by his wife of 50 years, Danielle Brault Peloquin. He was so proud of his children, Marc, Michel and wife Marisa, Monique P. Mueller and husband Kurt, and Martineeloquin. He is further survived by his loving grandchildren Gregory, Spencer, Joseph, Hudson and Marielle; his brother Robert and sister Louise. Ed graduated from the Uneersity of Florida in 1966 with a Bachelor of Engineering and Rutgers Uneersity in 1981 with a Master of Humaneesources. A US Army veteran, he served in the US, Korea and Vietnam. While stationed in Fort Sam Houston, Texas he met and married his future wife Danie, an Army Nurse. As a civilian, he became a health planner in Missouri and New Jersey focusing on hospital planning and safety aneemergency preparedness for senior facilities. He was active with the Knights of Columbus, South Brunswick Board of Health, court appointed mediation and was an avid golfer. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM May 7, 2018 from Holy Infant Catholic Church in Durham. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the building fund or community outreach at Holy Infant Church. The family would like to thaneeveryone for their prayers and the VA, physicians, nurses, caregivers and hospital staff for their efforts, care and dedication.
