DURHAM – Donna Louise Browne, age 66, died at Duke Regional Hospital on May 21, 2021. She was born on December 17, 1954 to the late Donald Danielson and Julia Beatty.
Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than being with family, playing, baking, and singing with the grandchildren. She had a zest for life that infected everyone she met. Donna had a long varied career within supply chain at Bayer CropScience; a part of the many transitions from Union Carbide, Rhone Puolenc, Aventis and Bayer. We all enjoyed her many talents; sewing, crocheting, baking, painting, singing, playing the piano and her enormously generous heart.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, James Browne; son, James Browne (Melissa) of Sparta, NC; daughter, Danene Robinson (Tony) of Hurdle Mills, NC; four grandchildren, Maclaren Browne, Addison Browne, Alex Robinson, and Alleigh Robinson; mother, Georgianne Danielson; four brothers, Dennis, Dean, Loren (Jamie) and Bill Danielson (Carol); and three sisters, Cheryl Lusby, Darlene Dudley (Robert) and Susan Shelley (Jeff).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 3-5 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel, 1113 W. Main St., Durham, NC 27701 with the funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM.
