Christopher Wayne Marlow

Mr. Christopher Wayne Marlow, 30, formerly of Chapel Hill, died unexpectedly at his residence in Columbia, SC on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Chris was born in Chapel Hill on March 26, 1979, the son of Jimmy Wayne Marlow and Deborah Lynn Williams Marlow. He was a 1997 graduate of Oak Ridge Military Academy, and served in the US Marine Corps for 4.5 years where he worked as a military police officer. At the time of his death Chris was a deputy sheriff for Lexington County, SC. Survivors include his father, Jimmy, of Chapel Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Cara Marlow, and their daughters Camryn and Jules, all of Burlington, NC; and a large extended family. Chris' mother, Debbie, preceded him ineeath. At his request, Chris will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held.
