Charles Newton Adcock

Charles Newton Adcock, Jr., age 89, died on August 16, 2020. He was born in Oxford, NC on August 10, 1931 to the late Charles N. Adcock, Sr. and Essie Frazier Adcock.
Charles was a lifelong member of Hester Baptist Church where he worshiped and served in so many capacities. He was the owner and operator of Adcock Construction Company for almost 50 years.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Patricia Day; and his sister, Mildred Woodlief. He is also survived by so many loving extended family and friends. Charles is predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine Brooks Adcock; parents; siblings, Willie Mae Adcock Williams, Lucille Adcock Thomas, Ruby Adcock, Fannie Doris Adcock Bodin, and Roy Adcock; and son-in-law, George Ivey Day.
A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Oxford, NC on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm and will be officiated by Reverend Christopher Aho.
